Description
Your essay answer must involve creative thinking. Formulate your answer using your own thinking, your own expression, your own words. Spend time thinking about your overall strategy on how you will accomplish this.
Really spend time devising approaches and arguments and counter-arguments. Feel free to take a debating stance. In fact, I encourage that. Pay attention to the meanings of keywords and definitions. How might differing historical contexts(social differences, political systems) shape peoples attitudes and views? Bring up these factors in your essay. Interpret and explain them. Make tight comparisons.
There are two sections (Section A and Section B). Our answers will be in essay format and the length will be 1,000 words each. Avoid at all costs paraphrasing or simply writing down an answer straight from our material, because I will be checking. Our answers must be creative and intellectually rigorous. Be argumentative but nail down your arguments with specifics (details).
Section A
- Themes of competition, superiority, and domination arise in Weeks 9 and 12. Explain. What communalities and differences apply to them?
Section B
- The impact of crisis and plans for trying to improve the nation and the world shine through in Weeks 7 and 10 and 14. But are they the same?
