I’m working on a advertising question and need support to help me learn.
This assignment asks you to consider Super Bowl commercials for the following reasons: 1) Because they represent the pinnacle of what every advertising agency wants to do. 2) Because they represent the most expensive ($5.6-million per 30-seconds) commercial time possible. 3) Because they are often the most creative productions on any medium, watched by tens of millions of people. 4) and because they give advertising students a wonderful laboratory to examine the ‘heart’ of this business.
The attached article from the Wall Street Journal (below) discusses the return on investment of Super Bowl ads. As part of the study, marketing students were asked to grade the commercials A to F and explain why they chose each grade.
You are now asked to do the same thing. Based either on your own memory of the live commercials, or by watching them on YouTube
