Question Description
I need support with this Supply Chain question so I can learn better.
Service Blueprint and Service Encounter Design for a company that provide a service of establishing Basketball and tennis courts in the houses of the customers.
Service Blueprint: present the process for providing this service. Remember that, in services, the process is often the product, and that consumption of the product is often simultaneous with its production. This means a flow chart as illustrated in the service design lecture and in exh. 9.6 on text pages 234-5.
Service Encounter Design: the heart of service delivery is the encounter between the customer and the service provider/organization. From the service blueprint, this is what occurs at the line of interaction between the customer and the provider.
Provide a reasonably detailed description of how the encounter should occur. What will the customer see (remember the line of visibility in the service blueprint), do, etc.? What will the provider/organization see, do, etc.? Remember that there may be a series of encounters in order to complete both the sale of the service and the service itself. Do not underestimate the difficulty of making the sale.
