Description
This week you get to learn how to display data visually with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Not a bad arrow to have in your quiver when you head out into the job market after graduating.
The most important aspect of this assignment is creating an account with ArcGIS. Most of you have already done this. If you don’t create the account and remember your login and password, you will not be able to complete the map, and subsequently, the assignment. The ArcGIS Home Page Free Trial link WILL NOT work for this assignment. Professor Risley’s instructions are included in this week’s Cougar Courses.
The “Link to the Detroit Lesson” below has the complete set of instructions for finishing the assignment, with many images and screenshots.
