Siddartha is a religious and spiritual book written by Hermann Hesse. Siddartha, the novel's protagonist, has the ultimate goal of reaching enlightenment as well as the full knowledge of the world and himself. He plans to do this by checking out several different faith based philosophies with which he results in in his long term journey. Throughout the book, the author describes each of Siddartha's stages in his life and those who he incurs. The three key stages in his life incorporate a search to get knowledge and religion, lust and sensory faculties in the materials world, and total enlightenment. Siddhartha's quest took his whole life to complete.  The book begins with Siddartha living with his daddy in ancient India. Dr. murphy is the son of any Brahman, even though is privately unsatisfied together with his life and feels something is definitely missing. This individual and his good friend, Govinda, accept to follow a faith based group known as the Samanas, although Siddartha's father will not approve. Although they satisfy his rational wishes, the teachings will not bring him any nearer to enlightenment. Siddartha leaves Govinda and Gotama to somewhat learn from the pleasures of the material community.
